As humans it is really easy to say what we are bad at. Not so easy to tell ourselves what we are good at.
Things could be worse. You are getting a second chance to study. You have a girlfriend. Life could be worse.
More importantly I think you are jumping to a lot of false conclusions which cause you some unnecessary worries.
For example. Repayment of the loans. I am English and went to university. Unless they have changed the rules you don't repay anything until your earnings are at a certain level. Plus you only owe 27000 pounds if you finish the course.

If you only take 1 thing from this it should be the following.
Learn mindfulness. In short it is the ability to focus on the task at hand instead of worrying or being distracted by a million other things. I think you would really benefit from it.
Good luck. I believe you'll be fine.

If dropping out of college is the biggest mistake you make in life, you'll be better than 99% of us.

One of the biggest things in life going forward is how you approach failure. As my old Muay Thai teacher used to tell me, "if you're afraid to get hit, you'll get hit." But if you're able to take a punch -- or any of the blows that life will throw you -- you will be unbeatable.

Trust me on this: the world won't end if you don't make it this time either. There are plenty of wildly successful people who screwed up a lot worse than you have.

So, knowing that failure is really no big deal in the long run, stop thinking about it, and start thinking about success. Visualize yourself as a success in school and as a success in life. Stop looking down and start looking up.

Just wanted to update this thread and say that 8 years later, I graduated university with a First Class degree back in 2018 after a lot of hard studying and have been working a well-paid job for a few years now.

Thank you for all the comments and the support - it meant a lot to me.

    Thank you!

I graduated with a bachelors degree in Marketing, but one thing lead to another and I ended up working in Finance (Treasury and Banking).

Job-wise life is good, but health wise it's been absolute nightmare as I got injured by the COVID vaccine and last 2 years have been very miserable for me.

However, me and my partner got on the mortgage ladder and got our own house March last year. I am trying to do the best with what I have at the moment.

Going back to this thread actually made me quite nostalgic about the past, things I used to worry about all these years ago and put things into perspective on how many insignificant things I focused on. I really miss my old life. I curse 2020 and everything that happened onwards.

Appreciate all the support all you lovely people on this forum have given me :):):)

I feel a much more mature and stronger person and I will somehow find a way to fight what happened to me.
