    Well, I'm trying to be. I'm like the guy who hit a home run in the big game in high school, then never accomplished anything again. But for me, the "big game" was marching band, jazz band, and wind ensemble. So I'm studying world percussion (I've never played hand drums before). Right now I'm focusing on the congas. I've also messed around with a djembe and a bodhran.

    I actually learned on a square-point Böker razor. You're spot on in stating that 'care' is required in using a spike/square pointed razor. I earned a few cheek slices by not paying attention to where my face ended and the tip began....:eek::shocked002:

    Yep.
    I didn't slice so much as stabbed.
    I'm not so much coordinated any more.
    I need that razor to be as geezer friendly as I can make it.
    On the up side, I've learned how to round a point and get
    the razor back into shaving shape pretty quickly now...

    Not in, sadly. I have two unused straights (neither as nice as yours) that I have been too chicken to try yet... Since I have a beard and shave my head and neck line only. But thanks for the opportunity!
