I already smell of cheap cigs, ammonia and urinal mint, so I'll bow out with dignity and grace.

Woo. Some of these posts made me laugh! I’m not in.

 

Great PIF Primo! Local Gent soaps are excellent (balms too for that matter) but agree that the scent of Tobacco Lounge is more leather than tobacco IMO. Still killer suds though.

 

Agreed that the soap base is not bad at all. BUT...
Leather??? Tobacco??? Sorry my friend, but your olfactory sense is a bit askew in this case. I love leather/tobacco (i.e. B&M Leviathan), but I wouldn't apply those two scents to this product.

 

A side note: Interesting you say that, as the Maggard A.S. I'm ordering tomorrow("Tobacco&Leather), is criticized by some as having "too much leather". Worx for me, if that's the case .

 

A lot of the reviews that I had read had said they couldn’t identify any tabacco scent but more leather and musk scents, which are very personally selective scents.The one thing they all had in common was the quality of the suds.

I prefer leather over tobacco anyway-but I could get used to a pipe tobacco sent-my Dad smoked pipes.

I do like both scents, but I do love the smell of a small tobacconist shop. Too bad there’s not many around anymore.
