The thought of doing three passes with a cartridge razor makes my skin crawl. I suppose I would use a Trac II or some other two bladed contraption if I had to. But for me it's DE or straight razor all the way.

I shaved with a Sensor for a grand total of one week, and a Shmuck 3 (sorry, couldn't resist!) for one day. What does that tell you guys what I think of cartridge razors?

If the lather is good, a three pass with a cartridge (using no pressure) is fine for me but YMMV :) I still prefer my Fatboy and single blade BIC I have to admit. That said, cartridge razors feel safer overall and with less risk, that's also why I still love the canned goo. It's nice that I can have my cake and eat it too. Aces!

Speaking of Bic Sensitive, I picked up a bag of 12 the other day out of curiosity from another thread. I've been using the Gillette Guard for my head shaves and have been completely satisfied with the results. Wow! The Bic shaves so much closer than the Guard or my Trac II and the guard was banished to a drawer. The Bic is an amazing shaver, combined with a can of Barbasol, the head shaves are fantastic with this combo.

I still like my MWF and straight razor for my face though.

what i do with a twin blade cartridge is do one with the grain pass and a against the grain pass and a third pass if needed

I've wanted to try a trac II on my dome for a a while. Sure a DE on the skull works but for speed and closeness a cartridge wins on the head. For the longest time I kept a Fusion for the head and DE or straight for the face and it worked out well.
