Would you buy a Marvel Avengers Gillette cartridge razor? ;)

And... here is the special link of Gillette's partnership with Spectre 007. :)

I don't know about it either. My knowledge is limited in this case.

I am kind of puzzled when I read the analogy you sketched.

I was wondering about that myself, given the marketing tie-in. I won't be able to see the movie until next weekend. If Bond is using a ProGlide, that will be an interesting change of pace from the straight razor fetishism in Skyfall.

It's a thing in the United States (and perhaps elsewhere) that kids like to dress up like superheroes, such that some canny marketers have produced children's underwear to resemble superhero costumes, and bed sheets to feature superhero artwork and themes.

The real question is, will he still be using a shaving brush? ;)

Good question. Prior to Skyfall, I seem to recall every other shaving reference in the movie series involved canned foam.

You know what's really troubling about the Star Wars razors is...they're razors. They're not intended for children, but for grown men. Who would use something like this?

    Wait...never mind.

I thought I painted a pretty vivid picture.
it would be like a grown man wearing underoos, eating from a bowl with little cartoon ducks at the bottom. then getting a drink from a sippy cup. if my children are watching me shave,I want the implements to portray class and refinement, not comic book nonsense. if others like that sort of thing, great. just don't want my cup of tea from a sippy cup.

Our friend Saad is in Pakistan. I think he didn't understand the cultural reference implicit in your analogy. In order to understand why a razor might look like children's underwear, one must first know that there is such a thing as Underoos.

I consider my razor to be a tool not a toy and it should reflect that. I quit collecting action figures when I was 7 or 8 years old.

The only film that inspired me to buy products was ET. I had the BMX bike, the Avon bath foam, a stuffed toy, miniature figures..

However, it's important to note I was 12!
