I've been shaving with a VDH safety razor for a couple of months now and wanted to try out something with a little more weight and thicker handle. Because of my budget I've narrowed it down to the WSP El Grande and the Maggard MR3. I was wondering. If anyone had any experience with either or both of these? And which would you recommend?
I'll bet they're both made at the same factory. I have not used either one, I do have a Maggard MR5 arriving today. Looks like a nice razor, nice hefty handle. Go for it!
Yeah the MR3 was my first option, 1. Because of price & 2. The customer service at Maggards is outstanding and I've never had a problem with them... I was also looking to get a MR5 at somepoint so let me know how it is.
