    Hugo Boss Bottled.

But consider the Eau de Toilette instead of the Cologne, if it even exists as a Cologne. Longer mileage due to higher perfume content.

Really warn, nice and classic scent. Chicks dig it :)

Adidas dynamic pulse is nice as well and Polo Black. Both are younger scents and my wife approved.

I find Grey Flannel offputting... just something that I don't like in there. But, I will vote for Avon Wild Country... smells old school (and is an old frag) and yet not overpowering or "old man" smelling. WC is sill available from Avon in AS and EDT varieties as well as in AS Balm and (I think) deo.

Here are some of my favorite fragrances:

My wife loves these on me:

    Dolce & Gabbana
    Aramis
    Havana
    Grey Flannel
    YSL Pour Homme

Here are some more which I love, but she doesn't:

    Fahrenheit
    Antaeus
Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui
    JHL
    Givenchy Gentleman

Here are some which she loves, but I hate:

    Jean-Paul Gaultier Le Male
    Armani Black Code
    Obsession for Men
    Polo Original
    Pi de Givenchy

L'eau D'issey Issey Miyake, a nice classy woody aquatic and not too overpowering when he invariably applies too much. Cool Water was a good shout earlier too.

Went with Brut a/s spray (low on the potency meter) and a pack of matching bar soap. Had both laying around. If it does nothing else it will open his mind to the existence of alternatives to Axe.

I think that is actually a good call. Classic, manly, safe, not overpowering.

That is what I was going to recommend. I gave this to my sons in their late teens.

Yep. Few men can go wrong with something simple, green and vetiver-ish.

I think today might be a Brut shave now that I am thinking about it.

Just another recommendation. I was low on cash and got the dollar general brand knockoff of brut AS, two days ago i got regular brut and began comparing the two. Very similar but the Brut brand had a darker, slightly more intense aroma than the dollar general knockoff. The dollar general knockoff had a lighter (not in strength of the scent but type of scent), and sweeter scent. When i used the dollar general brand there was a cooling sensation to it, i haven't used the Brut brand yet but tomorrow is coming... Either way it's the same scent with minor differences that i appreciate.
