You can buy Yerba at Kroger and Publix. Guayaki brand, about $13/lb. It will be in the tea aisle. If you try some, please look up how to brew it properly, it's pretty awful if done wrong,
It has been a while since I could smoke a pipe. Travel means cigars. Last night Davidoff Red Mixture in a meerschaum church warden.
Surprise, surprise there was a Davidoff store in Macau. I had to check it out and then had some nice Davidoff and Savenelli pipes, the prices were way above what I have seen online so it was easy to pass. They had some tins of Davidoff but the prices started at about $30, insane. Still it was fun to do some eye shopping.
I brought my travel tupperdor. Enjoyed a cigar by the pool and then another in the evening. I was with some Korean friends and they are all now cigar smokers, one smokes a pipe and 3 of them are converted DE shavers. I have been a bad influence.
Since it was Macau I don't feel about not giving them the business. I just found a pipe shop in Seoul, I will visit them in person next week to see what they have.
If they will allow pix, would you photograph the store a little so we can see a Seoul pipe shop? Do they have a Web page, even if it's Hangul?
I will visit the store next week and ask to take some pics. Here is the link: http://www.lightertime.co.kr
Very cool! I saw on the front page that they carry the Ashford finish from Peterson. Army mount, sterling silver....
I am curious to see what they really have in stock versus the huge selection the show on the internet.
