It’s a Va/Per and very good IMO. The VA is a dark. The Perique is just enough to know it’s there. No Latakia in the description, and I don’t taste it if it is in there.

I think I read something on those pipes. Made to the specifications set out by Bing Crosby.

 

Correct, the maker had an actual Bing Croby Pipe Made by Merchant Service and the pipes he makes are to the exact specifications.

 

I think somewhere in these 323 pages I posted a photo of Bing with this style of pipe...but will post again so you can see comparison

Cool damp Sunday afternoon in Alabama. It’s going to get Arctic again this week, so enjoying a pipe on the deck while I can. Half and half H&H Louisiana Red and Esoterica Peacehaven in a Michal Novak pipe. Peacehaven is good but one dimensional. The red Virginia and perique of La. Red mixes well with it.
