I gotta clean the stem..all my pipes oxidize fast. Sheesh. This one has a stinger and really smokes great. I eased into work with it the other day. No gurgle and did not get over hot.

 

@AGHisBBS after I recover from putting a down payment on a vehicle and repairing another ladt month, a 320 is in the books!

 

After polish, rub it with a little vegetable oil.

 

Yup. I might not have done that... Don't remember.

PS Lux Twist Flake in my Rossi Vittoria Prince. A little furniture spray wax on a cotton cloth makes for a renewed shine.

I typically use a baking soda paste to clean stems, followed by a vegetable oil rub, let that soak in, then buff with an old t-shirt. You may have to repeat the baking soda clean, and be sure to rinse well and wipe off any baking soda residue.

 

I've been having good results using metal polish, Semichrome on my stems. Works pretty good.

I picked this pipe up today. Came with a matching tamper. Anyone have any info about it? It was in a secondhand store but appears to be unused.
