After dinner, Seattle Pipe Club Seattle Evening in a MM Country Gentlemen. A bit of Dickel #12 in a glencairn glass on the side.
My son enjoys little Jameson whiskey from time to time, and he recently acquired some glencairn glasses!
Yep, 13 1/2 years old now. This picture was probably two years ago or a bit more. He's slowed down quite a bit since then, but still wants to chase the tennis ball most days. Never was much of a bird dog, but that's my fault not really his. He can find birds, but always has been gun shy. I should have worked him through it when he was young, but he has been a great companion anyway.
Viprati in a Chacom Excellence billiard on a cloudy late afternoon. It will probably rain tonite then clear off.
We have a nine year old male named Ace, and a male puppy born August 16, named Jet. GSPs are not for lazy owners, but are truly wonderful as pets and companions. GSPs have been used in almost any working or sporting role imaginable, a testament to their innate ability to work with people. The puppy may get to hunt, but the older dog is just a great member of the family as a pet now. They are half-brother and get along well.
Early morning pipe of Gatsby Luxury Flake in my Dr. Grabow Royal Duke (bent bulldog), with a hot cup of black Hazelnut coffee. Ahhhhhhhh!!! =)
Stokkebye Bullseye flake folded and stuffed in a Sasieni bent bulldog. This bulldog is just barely large enough to hold an entire coin. In my basement tonight. Top shelf has a few of my jars and unopened tins.
Some good books down there too. I wish I had a warm place to smoke so I could relax with a large slow smoking pipe and read.
I smoked a small bowl of my pre rubbed OGS in my little basket pipe yesterday. I'm not willing to sit outside in the cold for a pipe today. Maybe after lunch tomorrow I can enjoy a pipe while I'm re-reading the lord of the rings.
Another thing you might see on the top shelf to the right are a couple of boxes of baking soda, just 2 of several boxes I keep on hand. I don't go crazy with prepping for disasters like some people. But there are a few items overlooked by many that are very practical with Baking soda one of them. It has a lot of uses. Salt is also frequently overlooked, as is toilet paper and paper towels.
My disadvantage is that I live in an apartment and when I move Its unlikely to have a basement since I'll be moving to South Florida. Maybe I'll have a garage when I get down there.
Yes but, the rain? I lived there for 18 years sometimes it gets below 32F. Only for about a week all year but it happens.
