I used to do the Department Store stuff, but now I am more into oldtime basics. I am experimenting all the time, but my current top 5 are: Bay Rums (Stephens, Master, Dominica, Superior 70, Clubman) Cool Wave Master Musk Master Blue Lucky Tiger Alpine
I have a limited variety which, hopefully will expand in the near future, but here they are as it stands today. 1. Clubman Bay Rum 2. Jovan Musk 3. Royal Copenhagen 4. Aramis Tuscany 5. C.O. Bigelow Black elixr
Best five for me is: Georgio of Beverly Hills Polo Pinaud Lilac Vegital Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum Dune Pour Homme by Christian Dior
1. Aqua Velva Classic 2. Jovan Musk 3. Murray and Lanman's Florida Water 4. British Sterling 5. English Leather
1. Quorum Silver 2. Dolce and Gabbana pour homme 3. 4711 4. English Leather 5. C.O. Bigelow Red Elixir I have a few others, but these seem to be the ones I reach for. I have a bit of a CAD going on, but the purse strings seem to be knotted for now. They're in no particular order, but the 4711 is for hot days, and the Elixir and English Leather are more for "jean days."
I only have two: Brut & Curve I don't mind them, but more importantly my wife says they make me smell like me. :agelic13
(In no particular order): Pehaligon's English Fern Art of Shaving Sandalwood Diptyque Tam Dao Truefitt & Hill 1805 Knize Knize Ten Honorable mention: Creed Silver Mountain Water Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum Tabac EdC
Aramis Musgo Real No. 2 Speik Ogallala - Double Strength Curzon Looking for my alltime favorite which was made back in the late 60's and had a very woodsy scent, can't remember the name.
Correction: I meant Lucky Tiger Aspen. It resembles Aspen by Coty but is much lighter. Master Blue resembles Aqua Velva, but also is lighter scented.
For what's it worth, here's my list! 1) Acqua de gio 2) Tabac 3) Woods of Windsor 4) Anherb aftershave 5) Lucky Tiger Bay Rum I enjoy seeing what others use. I'm always interested in knowing if any of you try to pick your cologne on the basis of the soap/cream you use?
Well sort of, but only if I shave with the Brut soap and then I slap on the Brut...so tomorrow, I will need to shave with the Williams so I can slap on the Florida Water....sooooo...I guess you are right!
new stock is in Burts Bees Bay Rum Cologne Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve Tabac SCS Smoke & Beads Master Lilac Vegetol
1. Royal Copenhagen 2. Clubman bay rum 3. English Leather (vintage by MEM) 4. Aqua Velva 5. Ogallala Limes and Peppercorn 6. Vi-Jon old spice copy oops that was 6
1. Guerlain-Habit Rouge EDT. My new signature scent. 2. Aqua di Parma, Colonia 3. Chanel Pour Monsieur 4. Lanvin's Arprge Pour Homme 5. Old Spice and Floris No 89 (Both remind me of my Dad, so I will always love them) I've recently rediscovered Guerlain's masterpiece Habit Rouge. It always seems to take me to all my best times, places, and presses all the right buttons...I'm loving it more and more each year...Its always surprising...Just today, 2 hours into the scent, I kicked back, shut my eyes and concentrated on the scent, and BAM!! It took me back to the first time I drove a mid-'60s Jaguar E-Type, and all I could smell was wood and leather...I had to smile...most of the afternoon...
