In the dog days of summer i find myself using a lot more of the refreshing aftershaves and splashes, and less of my top drawer stuff: 1. Hoyt's Cologne 2. Speick Aftershave Lotion 3. Spanish Floid 4. Pinaud Clubman 5. Meehan's Bay Rhum
Everyday: Dunhill 1934 Yardley Black Label Woods of Windsor Sunday: Creed Bois du Portugal Special occasion: Creed Vintage Tabarome
Ogallala Bay Rum Limes and Peppercorns Pinaud Clubman M&L Florida Water Aqua Velva Nivea Sensitive AS balm Any scent in the OBR line is great, I just listed my favorite. The rest are in no particular order.
I have to make a revision now that I have picked up a couple of new scents. Brut Bay Rum Florida Water Booster Mosswood Hoyt's Cologne If I can squeeze #6 I will go with Speick
1. the Scent of a woman. 2 Coffee 3 a bakery 4 smoked brisket cooking on the pit 5 a pot of gumbo cooking on the stove around Christmas time
I'm with Kojak on this one. You can't really top going out smelling like your favorite woman And for a Frenchman the coffeeshop and bakery are essentials. However I also enjoy Aqua Velva English Leather Old Spice Armani Code The Body Shop Activist with the scent of motorcycle exhaust mixed with any of the above scents coming in close behind It's fun to see what all you other guys are wearing. I'll have to pick up some of this stuff.
Trumpers Violet Floid Blue C&E Sandalwood AV Musk Skin Bracer anything Its too bad there is not a direct AS based on Trumpers violet....
TSD has Violet and Violet Patchouli AS. To my nose the patchouli only makes the violet stronger. Trumpers's Violet + TSD Violet + Grey Flannel :happy005
1. Bulgari Black 2. Polo Double Black 3. Trumper's Extract of Limes 4. Burberry Brit 5. Acqua Di Parma Colonia (vintage) Bulgari Black is the ultimate attractor, women get a glazed expression and start sniffing. Evening wear for me, sometimes a daily wear. Polo Double Black is my signature scent, good for daily wear Trumper's is my treat to myself. Dosen't last long, but worth it. Burberry Brit is another all around good scent for me. The Colonia being produced today is but a shadow of it's former self. The best Colonia was produced before I was born, and it's a real pain in the butt to find. The Colonia being produced now isn't worth the price they ask for IMO. To the flying Frenchman: I think you would like Bulgari Black, Polo Double Black, and Burberry Brit. Brit and Dbl. Black share similarities to Armani Code and English Leather. Bulgarui Black is in a league of it's own.
My all time favorite was Abercrombie Woods but it is discontinued I currently use Armani Code and like it ok.
1. Creed Windsor 2. Geo.F. Trumper Eucris 3. Annick Goutal Encens Flamboyant 4. Penhaligon's English Fern 5. Dyptique Tam Dao There's definitely a pattern of incensey/dark scents forming. Maybe that has to do with the 4" of snow and mid-teen temperatures outside my window.
Depends on the season for me... For Winter/Fall Armani 'Code' Armani 'Emporio' Ed Hardy 'Ed Hardy' Spring/Summer Burberry 'Touch' Hugo Boss 'Selection' Ed Hardy 'Love and Luck' Old Spice, any of their fragrances. Really like their new Matterhorn
1.Creed Windsor 2.Santa Maria Novella Oppoponax 3.Le Labo Rose 31 4.Lorenzo Villoresi Uomo 5.Cale Mistero
