Does anyone else use this sort of thing to help protect razors? Same concept as vci paper, but in a plastic sticker. They're usually marketed for firearms and other tools.

These particular ones fit nicely in a straight razor box.

That looks interesting. But, I've just used mineral oil, on the blade, and let the razor air out, overnight, to evaporate any residual water lurking in the hinges, or scales. never had a spot of rust, in several years doing it this way.

Folks on other forums have used them and seem to like them. I’ve also used the vapor paper and vapor plastic bags and have had no issues with them.

For razor storage, the silicone-treated cloth sleeves are very good too.

    Cheers, Steve

So... it works like a desiccate to absorb the moisture out of the air?

No, they emit a vapor that chemically inhibits corrosion.

I have emitters every where. In my display cabinet, my safe, gun cabinet, tool chests. They are quite effective.
