Hi, I love my razor I bought the OneRazor from Rick Harrison (waiting for laughter ). What peaked my interest to switch, was my friend got a straight razor and I was tired of giving my pay cheque over to be able to shave. My wife didn't trust me with a straight razor and I saw the OneRazor in Walmart as an option. Looked it up showed her the price difference and she let me get it Just found this site while looking for a DIY for blade disposal. I thought I would sign up and get some tips and tricks as I don't know anyone that uses these blades. I'm from the cold north Canada. I would like to be entered into the newbie draw please. https://www.onerazor.com/ Reepi
Hi! Only 4 months old and shaving, eh? Boy, they sure start 'em young in Canada! As for the Newbie drawing, you have to sign up here ---> *click* Again, welcome!!
LOL Yes I guess the title suggests I'm 4 month old I was just meaning only been shaving with a DE for 4 months Plus you know it's cold up here need to keep warm somehow
Glad that you landed here at TSD, @Reepi . I'm sure you will fit right in. Join us on The Shave of the Day thread. It is fun, and you will see all kinds of products. And please Mark YOUR location on the TSD map - instructions here.
Welcome, you'll like it here. Whereabouts (WhereabOOts) in Canada? A really quick way to dispose of blades is to cut a slot into a tin like this one and just drop them in.
to TSD "Reepi" I hope you enjoy it here. Your razor is a Chinese made Weishi. It's basically a Gillette Super Speed TTO clone. I don't have one, but I've heard good things about them. They are considered a mild razor. IMO an Edward Jagger 89 3 piece would make a good, inexpensive(approx$30) upgrade, when your ready, if you'd like a slightly more aggressive and a bit better made razor.
Hello and welcome to The Shave Den. I totally get the 'wife doesn't trust me with a straight razor'. When I mentioned the idea to my wife she mentioned things like 'clumsy' and 'dead'.
Welcome aboard! From what I read, the razor you are using is a good starter. As you gain experience, you may want something else, but that's later. How are you doing with the razor? Any problems or questions? Feel free to ask; that's why we are here.
A warm welcome to you from North Texas. With that being said ... Welcome to the Den. We know you'll fit right in. So grab yourself a comfy chair, and give our threads a spin! Burma Shave
