Gem micromatic- I have SEVERAL , the finest, open comb, most aggressive out there IMO. The clog pruf is also very nice.

 

Well, "lucky" for me I have two on their way to me now (one silver and one gold...).

 

You will love them. Out of all my collected pieces is a matching set of mint mmoc's, one silver and one gold.

That case is sweet, I dont have a case for either of mine.
They are designed to be held with the flat side of the head against your face, eliminating the "angle learning" curve. It works for me but may or not work for you.

 

I'm not a collector (really!) so I made a deal where he kept the case and blade holder and sold me the razor at a much reduced price
I've read about the unusual blade angle (I'm coming from the world of 30degreeish DE blade shaving) and I loved how this razor actually explained it well (and I THINK fram773 picked it up from Etsy after I linked to it lol):

 

HOLY CRAP! I have butt loads of those Gems and NONE of mine have the instructions on them like that.
I've never even seen one like that.

Actually...there is a really dirty one on Etsy right now, in silver, with the same wording ontop: Priced a tad high though maybe. I think the gold one was about $15 or so.

yup sorry I just had to buy it. There's definitely some collector value there. I had never seen one like that before either. It was probably a store demo.

I think i saw that one for a crazy price like $50? I hope you didn't overpay...

 

Nah I opted out of the case and blade bank and got a better price for it ($25 I think) as I was only interested in the razor itself.
Not super cheap but it was the type of razor I really wanted.
