At the very least the TTO mechanism, the American razor has that crimp near the bottom of the handle that holds it in place so when you loosen it the doors open,while while the British razor the knob actually moves closer to the handle facilitating the opening of the doors. I only have a couple of British razors but the mechanism has less play for sure. Sent from my QTAQZ3 using Tapatalk
