  5. Fabulous kit, Myles! I can’t comment on the soap, but do know that Gary and a number of others no longer on this thread really like the soap, as I’m a dyed in the wool MWF user. But that Polo certainly brings back memories! You pushed this old man’s nostalgia buttons with this shave! Semper Fi!

Razor: AJ Jordan Old Faithful Cocolobo scales
    Brush: Opus Shaving Brushes “Underdog”
    Lather: PAA Malbolge
    Aftershave: PAA Malbolge
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

It is definitely good to be back home although I did not mind the warmer temperatures. I decided to go with a Tobacco Tuesday themed shave. The Opus boar brush whipped up a luxurious lather with plenty to spare for another two passes if I had so desired.

I completed a three pass shave that was comfortable and close. Unfortunately, on my next to last stroke I got a minor cut, due to user set down error, on the upper left lip. Such is life! It was not anything the alum and witch hazel could not hand.

I hope you all have a great day gentlemen.

  17. Nice shave and setup Joe. It is too bad about the cut, but that area is prone to mishaps for most shavers.
