Nothing wrong with it at all in my view, but if you have a Super Speed in nickel and it is in great shape then having a gold plated equivalent in your stable would be the way I would go, because I have just that. I have 1940 series Super Speeds and Milords that have the original plating so they complement each other very well in photos and when you just want to switch up the look of your shave.
Great story, Gary! I enjoyed it very much. The only way it could have been better would be if, at the end, one of those razors got PIF'd to a guy named Timelord.
