  6. Nice setup today Kerry. I find the iKon Standard Base to be their most efficient and most aggressive razor in their inventory and kept this over the ATT H1&H2. But as you well know each person's whiskers and technique is different so a YMMV thing.
  7. What a great set-up, buddy! :)
  8. Sherlock is a great scent. Perhaps the best new one in 2015.

  10. My last purchase of 2015 was unexpected. I'd only seen pictures of the Schick Type K3 in a post on a forum here in TSD. However, I'd never seen one offered for sale until very recently. It was listed as a modified razor that someone had inexplicably cut down. When I contacted the seller I learned that she had mistook it and she had the medallion and the case but hadn't realized it was intended to be that length or that the medallion fit as a cap on the end and the three pieces actually did belong together. She agreed to sell all the pieces to me at her original BIN price. :happy088:

So, today's shave was with the K3 which showed up in my mailbox yesterday. :D A full report can be found here:

  11. Thanks, Guy! Yes the standard base is very aggressive and not for everyone, I had the 5 piece DLC from iKon last year and liked the standard base the best. One thing about using an aggressive razor like this is soap selection, slick, slick and more slick.
  12. Thanks, Jeff! The iKon B1 is really nice.
  13. Karl, Nice to see you using Bio Palmyra "the thing" a little unknown great cream. :happy088:

  16. Very nice!
    Dumb question alert:
I have an iKon B1 as well. I noticed you refer to yours as 'standard'. Not being too well versed with iKon's naming policies what doe that pertain to?
  17. It's the base plate, so you have the standard, the slant, OSS? The one that's open one side and closed the other, and open comb.
  18. Sunday morning shave with the BT, smooth and relaxing ... Have a great day everyone!
