Thanks for the compliment, Paul! It would depend on the soap's scent. Personally, I use the Clubman when I use Williams, VDH or a Barbershop scented soap because they are unscented or lightly scented. I wouldn't use Clubman on strongly scented soaps. My educated guess would be to pair it with a woodsy scent rather than a floral one.

I've heard about the mice on a stick. My friend told us the maize was a staple food in Malawi and that field mice were considered to be superior food items. He was invited to family's home, and they thought enough of him to serve him a field mouse. He ate it.

This certainly puts our "problems" in perspective, doesn't it?

Thank you for your input, Andrew! As I mentioned earlier, I don't own an OC so I haven't experienced one. My comment on an OC being more aggressive than a CC was based on articles that I have read. With that said, I don't want to start a Civil War with Robert. Lol! Seriously, I would agree that it does depend on the razor's head geometry and the gap. However, I think it's fair to say that there are some OC razors that are aggressive just like any razor.

    Yes, it does.

Maize? That would be something they call "nsima" I think. Part of pretty much every meal. It seemed to me a lot like grits, but cooked down more until it can be formed into a ball.

I started out with 1 razor.....then curiosity took over and I had to find another. Its like reading a book. Some razors are kept pristine so that person had to be fussy. Others are well worn and could have been owned by someone thrifty or just loved the razor enough to use it alot. We can only imagine.

    Thanks Joe

We will always be here. I felt that way last year when I wasn't on here for awhile. Sure are a great bunch of guys in here.

    We are!

Thanks Jason. Incredible group this is . Couldn't buy friends like we have in here.
