There was a sudden, small avalanche of 007 Protector razors on eBay this morning...so I picked up a Silver one from "Tomorrow Never Dies" to go with my Gold one from "Gold Finger" :)

I just bagged the last Tomorrow Never Dies Protector to match my GoldenEye Protector. Thanks for the heads up!

Yes, it's just a Wilkinson Sword Bonded made as a throw way to allow those using Injector's or DE razors to try these new cartridge razors that will never take off ;).
As with your earlier sample version, and in a similar way to the Trac II and Super II demonstrators.

I would never dare press this button :lam: . The intention behind my last post was to inquire if it is all plastic or made of some other material.

I don't have it yet but if I were to bet on anything I'd bet on plastic :)

As far as I could assume, I thought the metal parts were painted black.

I have to ask, are you and @Sabre equipped with special technology that helps you locate great deals on the internet? This is how I imagine, you and Sabre hunting for rare item deals.

Finally got to try out what I'm now certain is the Merkur MII w/ Schick cartridge:
VERY pleasant handle. Well balanced albeit a fair bit towards the handle and very comfortable to hold. I had the cartridge-end of the razor in the mug with some warm water while I was soaking the brush in it and I noticed that the handle retained a lot of the warmth in it for the duration of the shave - a rather nice thing on a chilly morning.

Great handle that I'm looking forward to using again.
