welcome @AndyR82! i'm about eight weeks into my wet shaving journey and was probably right where you are and where @NewellVW (great post, btw) was. while i used very little to no pressure early on, my initial angle was atrocious! it wasn't until about the five week mark (during the month of my 30 day rule) that i finally got my angle corrected. only three or so weeks into my new angle and better technique, the irritation on my neck is now almost non-existent. keep practicing!
