I mentioned in a previous thread that I had put out a WTB feeler near the end of 2015 for a Georgetown Pottery Ambrose Brush Scuttle. These scuttles were commissioned by a user "Ambrose" on Badger and Blade back in 2010. Two versions were made. One is straight sided; the other has round sides. They are very rare and very hard to find. I am trying to acquire these scuttles to complete my Georgetown Pottery scuttle collection. Over the years I have acquired the G1, G2, G3, G4, G5, G12, and G20 versions. Acquiring an Ambrose V1 and V2 will complete the collection and I believe this will be the only complete collection of Georgetown's scuttles in the free world.

I am committed to NB for razors, blades, brushes, and soaps. However, if the opportunity arises to acquire the Ambrose V1 and V2 scuttles, I will make the purchase as the opportunity may be the one and only shot. Reckon I will join @Jayaruh in the SD versus NB category. Will keep you posted.

I am also trying to slow down and use up the products I have accumulated so far. In a year of wet shaving I have not seen the bottom of a soap yet, so I hope to one day get the pleasure of seeing one.

I don't understand the difficulty of this challenge. How hard can it be to do nothing? That's all we need to do here to succeed, nothing. It's easy.
Ok...me and Primo and Martin. 3.

I'm still in too. For many people (probably women more often than men) doing nothing is nearly impossible.

13 days into the month and I haven't yet used the same razor or soap twice (although I just exhausted my razor options today). I think I'll be ok.

I am still in as well. I am enjoying using the stuff I have and just don't visit auction sites.

Be strong...(I say to myself) shield your eyes from the sites that tempt you with fine soaps and hardware that shines and brushes so soft. Resist temptation I say, resist, good men of TSD...resist the urge to click "Complete transaction"! Go to your dens, open a favourite soap, breath deep the fine scent and remember you haven't seen the bottom of a tub of soap in years. It's only one year...a mere blink of an eye in the grand scheme of eternity. To appease the emptiness you can always order something from the TSD shop, or trade among your brothers and sisters who walk with you on this lonely journey. :rolleyes005: Resist I say...

Just went to ebay to leave feedback for a shaving order made in December and received today. Almost succumbed to looking, but I was able to avert my eyes!
