Yes, giving feedback to the soap-maker. Doesn't do any good to give myself feedback. I tend to ignore that guy! :D
This is the 3rd puck I've tried (two more to go) and each has been a top performer. You can't go wrong with quality -made tallow soaps. Add some shea butter and lanolin and you've got terrific slickness of lather and top post-shave skin conditioning. :happy088:

It sounds like fun. It's cool that the soap maker trusts you.

Is it 5 different formulas or scents?

    Personna blade
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Pinaud Clubman A/S

Still not sure about the Satin Tip brush, will work with it this weekend and then try to decide if I like it or not. Right dandy shave to end the work week even tho I'm retired.

My best friend loaned me the R2 and M2 to try out for a while. I really like it. In all honesty it shaves very much like my New Deluxe but because the head is thicker the R2 is harder to use above my lip.

image.jpg Razor: Gillette New SC Red & Black set 1930s
Brush: Fuller Amber Badger 1920s -1940s
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
    Cream: Cella classica 1899
    Blade: Feather (2)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Balm, Pinaud Clubman AS
Back with the Gillette New SC, I really like both the LC and SC. Loaded a Feather blade, and checked the alignment. The Badger whipped up a thick warm lather in my go to OS Mug. Very close two pass shave with some touchup. More aggressive than the LC so I had to pay close attention. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some JB Balm. Then some Clubman. Feels like I just left the barbershop. Nice razor, great feedback and I can get into some spots on my neck with only a little buffing. I'm glad I got both the SC and LC. Y'all have a good one!

I've decided that I'm not a huge fan of the Cade cream and the Voshkod/SS combo only lasted three shaves because it just wasn't a good combo for me. Four years in and I'm still learning what works best for me.
