This morning it was a grayish weather and I took advantage of it to jump back into autumn fragrances and, after the close shaving of yesterday, I wanted something mild and the Brazilian mower was perfect!

And I didn't use any EdT because the smell of AS was definitely great. But, I had already taken the picture...

The Mother of All Freezes - we’re talking about some of the coldest stuff on this planet. The mentholated pre-shave soap is unscented, it does a great job of softening the stubble, it’s very moisturizing, it adds plenty of slickness, it’s got a nice cooling sensation, and it leaves the skin so clean. The Glacial Wintergreen soap’s awesome scent filled the bathroom, the lather worked up beautifully, and the freeze pummeled my face non-stop. The matching balm and witch hazel were a delightful finish. The Oscar Pour Lui is one of my favorite fragrances, and even Madame loves it on me. Three passes resulted in a perfect BBS shave!

Very nice, Jeff. The Stirling Glacial Wintergreen is the only mentholated soap that remains in my shave den.

MicroMaticMonday, May 11th 2020, Good morning with a hint of frost on my deck.

Razor: Gem Clog Pruf (Peerless model, 17 nib safety bar)- Mfg 1945- very nice mid range razor with good results.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (5) great blade, very sharp, great longevity and smooths out after a few shaves.
Soap : Razorock "The Dead Sea" nice scent with good lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi timber-wolf 24 mm - just a great brush to use with tight packed fiber and soft tips - i'm spoiled.
Pre shave: brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + clean up.
Post shave: Razorock "The dead Sea" aftershave with witch Hasel + a tiny dollop of Nivea Men sensitive balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my Gem Clog Pruf.

On we go with the Feather SS Kamisori. I decided to do the first pass with the Kami and the second with the Colonial General SE.

Today’s soap of the day Mitchell’s Wool Fat! I have been waiting to dive into this soap and give it a go and today was the day. Lovely scent and what a great performing soap. Lathered up a bunch and slick as can be.

Lovely two pass shave with this combo of the Kami and General. I have to say there wasn’t much for the General to do but it did clean up everything leftover from the Kami. Many more shaves to go until I am comfortable with the Feather SS but it’s not been too be bad so far. Enjoy your Sunday, Happy Mother’s Day and safe travels!

These are the four I have. I've only got the one puck of Macho. I tried to get more before it discontinued but wasn't able to. I've also seen an Aloe Vera online but currently I have enough soap for an army so I haven't purchased any.



I think Classic and Rivivage might be the same thing but I'm not sure.
