I created this thread on another forum I was a member of (under the user name of " Mendel".)

As the title implies, this thread is devoted to your interest and experience with synthetic shaving brushes... I've tried them all.

    I love my plisson!

I have recently found that my body shop synthetic is a bit to scritchy. I knew it was scritchy. I got it for traveling. I really enjoyed trying it out, but I recently used it again and didn't enjoy it. It's to bad that synthetics don't have a break in period =P

I own both the L'Occitane Plisson and the Grooming Company Synthetic, which has a Plisson knot with a shorter loft. I find the shorter loft to have more backbone.

I've also been really enjoying my Plisson! Great brush!

I have also tried the majority, if not all of them and I used to think the Plisson was 'the brush of the gods' until I tried the Edwin Jagger XL! :D
We are, indeed, very fortunate to have such a plethora of choices in wet-shaving, nowadays!

I've just found a local supplier of loccitane, and I'm going to get myself a plisson, without a shadow of a doubt. It won't be straight away, as I need to get a few miles on some recent new purchases, one of which is a new brush, ( badger) but I would like a good synth, and I know these plisson seem really popular.

I love my HIS XL! It is huge compared to my Plisson, but it just feels a bit better and makes lather even easier. I feel no urge to try animal based brushes.

I just ordered a L'Occitane Plisson yesterday. With the promo code ALMOND I also got a 2.5 oz Almond Shower Oil (which my wife LOVES) and free shipping. Just $32 something after tax. Can't wait to try it out!

I still want to get a couple more badger brushes. Something bigger than what I already have. Love my TGN knot!!

My favorite synthetics are in the Muhle family. I have a V1 type and a V2 type. I also have a large and small H.I.S., a small Omega and a Whippeddog. I have many badger, boar and horse waiting for their turn.
