May have to resort to ordering or could go down and pick up some boudin at the same. Probably could not find that gas station where I had my last sausage.

    Great hauls y'all!

I grabbed a bottle of Irisch Moos a/s, $13.50 shipped. I need to dig my Irisch Moos shave stick out and see how the scents compare. I don't think that Tabac a/s smells like the Tabac puck, which is a bummer. Hopefully Mauer did a better job with the Moos.

With the cost of fuel, cheaper to make your own. That lets you choose your spice level.
    Yankees don't know about boudin.

My wife was born and spent most of her youth in and around Opelousas . We went down to visit and she could show off her new husband. Went for a drive and found a place; and the sign read as follows:

    Bait and tackle
    Shotgun shells
    Groceries
    Boudin

We stopped in and the rest his history.

Also went to her aunts place and she and I made gumbo so that I could learn how they make it like down home. When we got back to Indy I threw that cookbook away.

The only thing that I had to deal with was my very apparent Michigan accent. They wanted to know what side my family was on. Told them while they were fighting there little war, my ancestors were fighting for the Kaiser.

My father's family is from Ohio, he married a Cajun. Though I was born south of I-10 I grew up in the Chicago 'burbs. Now I'm back home here in SWLA, but local Cajuns, of which I can claim birth right, think I'm a Northerner for my near lack of accent known as Mid Western.
Once you figure out how to make roux, gumbo is easy.
Steve @swarden43 if you have eaten the rice dressing from Popeye's Fried Chicken, you know what boudin tastes like.

Found a new Cremo Sandalwood Lathering Soap at Target. Also picked up some Nivea Sensitive Cooling Balm while I was out.

I'm not a big target shopper, due to the lack of redneck toys, but let us know how that cream is. I like the sandalwood scent, and I may have to send the wife to grab some if it's good.

Did not know this, I drive by a Popeye's all the time and have never stopped in.

I saw it too. Along with their new horse hair brush made by vie Long for $22. I'm not sure how good of a deal the brush is so I didn't get it. The cream smelled nice, and it's under $8 for 5oz I think. But since I just bought a whole bunch of stuff I decided not to get it.

Been a while back, didn't a Target Product Research Person pop in and ask some questions here in TSD? Seems like it's happening!

    EDIT; HERE!

How long did you have your SOC before it started to shed so much? I have one and have been using it for several months now - its my favorite brush. No shedding so far other than the usual one or two bristles upon initial use.

I received a 1/2 ounce of menthol crystals yesterday, shortly afterwards I began to bomb many of my aftershaves. I put a bit much in a couple of them :Animatedfrozensmily:

It was a shedder from the start. It got really bad a week or two ago and that's when I said enough. This new one shed about 10 bristles (long and short) the first shave and afterwards, not one hair off its 'chinny chin chin' :) I will say that it was a REALLY soft boar brush and I love the handle. Perfect size for me.
