Got a few SE's today. The Junior and Brass 1912 I got just to be getting. Thought it would be cool to shave with a simple brass. We're they originally just brass, or did they come with a plating? Now this Featherlight was a treat. Didn't know it came with a case. And from the look of it no plate loss. Wow. Can't wait to see how this one shaves.
Nice haul. I think you'll really like the Featherweight. There's somewhat of a thread on it here I like mine quite a bit.
Is all the Arko aftershave, shave creams and etc. something new for them or just new in the U.S.? Just curious because it seems their line is expanding or else I've just been to focused on other things to notice.
Saw a 50 year edition of the Featherlight sell on the bay yesterday. I had it on my watchlist but it went just a bit higher than I was willing to pay since I have very few SE in my collection and don't really seek them out. Still wonder if I shouldn't have gone ahead and paid the price. Near mint condition in the box with blade box as well. Cool piece. Yep, now I want another shot. Stupid RAD.

Mühle SOPHIST Razor Set ~ Buffalo horn with chromed metal accents ~ ~ Large silvertip badger brush, 23 mm knot ~ ~ Attractive chrome stand ~ I don't know how many times I looked at this shaving set on the Mühle website. I really loved the look of the natural horn but I kept telling myself that I couldn't really justify the price. Well, this month I ended up with a lot of overtime so I decided to give myself a nice little gift! The horn looks awesome and every single razor and brush are absolutely unique! I just received from Monica Gillam, from Van Yulay a full tin of her latest soap "Lime in de Coconut", along with matching balm and AS Splash and another balm! I guess even though on Facebook on her contest to name this new soap I didn't win, I still got the most votes, so she sent me these products. The scent is marvelous with lime, coconut and mango. Trying it out mañana!
