Why can't I post pictures? What am I doing wrong? Please advise.

I have tried more than a few times to add pictures to postings on this forum. Every time I try, the picture is rejected as "file too large". It doesn't matter if the picture is from my camera or my iPhone; it happens every time. I can post on eBay, and on another shave forum, but not here. What am I doing wrong? Please advise.

 

Hey Donald you have to upload Tapatalk I had the same problem

 

I send the photo email to myself.
It gives the option to resize.
I resize to 70 percent (large option).
Open, save attatchment, delete.
Then choose the new image.
Sounds more difficult than it is, but works.

 

I email phone pics to myself, the resize them in Photoshop CS. Upload them to Picasa Web Albums, open them, then right click on the pic & choose "Copy Image Location", and paste that info into the box when I open the "Image" icon here.

 

I post from my laptop. I use Irfanview to resize my photos to 800 pixels wide. That works fine. Looking forward to your photos.

 

Just use your device's photo app to resize. If you don't have one, there are dozens of free offerings online to choose from for both phone and or home PC's

If you take a screenshot of the image, the screenshot will be half the size of the original; you can the post the screenshot image. I do this all the time because I had the same issue.
